Rode out to The Fiesta Flambeau Night Parade.

About 2/3 of the way into it, it started pouring rain.

Something Special

Got this keepsake from my Southwest road trip last year.  I found it for only a $1.50! in Phoenix, AZ 

at a place called Zinnia's on Melrose.  If you're ever out that way be sure to check it out, 

but reserve almost a whole day cause there's so much to see.

Late night breakfast and a movie

On a whim, I decided to paint my dining room.  I call the color cafe' con leche, not for consumption.

Even made some curtains for the room too.

In middle & high school I loved ladybugs so much, my momma called me lazybug. Ha!

 The other day our electric coffee pot broke, after 6+ years.

Had to dust off the old french press, which was tricky to clean each use. 

Now, this little device is my favorite way to make coffee.

Just pour hot water over your grounds and viola! right into the cup.

Shout out to the guys who buy us handy coffee gadgets

Reflections

About two months ago I applied for a phlebotomy job, just to make some extra spending money.  I found out today that I didn't get it cause I wasn't willing to come in at 5am, and work Sundays too.  Sometimes you think you really really want something, then you realize it's not the best thing.  They called me three different times to get me to change my schedule, each time I said No!  So I'll continue to follow my dreams, as a photographer, and not sell out to the man for $14 an hour.
