I got to meet my little cousin today, they were in town for my Aunt's 90th birthday.  He was so funny because he kept licking the bottom of the candle and just laughing it up.  Such a cutie.

Just threw this together: sausage, potatoes, bell peppers, & onions. 

Throw in a skillet and bada bing! The juice from the meat grills everything up nicely.

Sleepyhead

I didn't take this, my husband did, it's all I have for today.  I slept-in and was a bum all day. Fail.

Six Flags, Fiesta Texas!  Had some coupons & got both my father and sister-in-law in for free.

It was fun seeing my father-in-law get on all the rides, I have a new respect for the guy haha.

I poured myself a handful of m&ms and got a bunch of blue ones, thought it was pretty cool.

Then my husband poured to rest of the bag into his hand and got just the opposite, even cooler!

My beautiful mother-in-law.  I still can't believe she's gone.  It hit me this morning when I walked outside to get the paper, dressed in black for her funeral. She was nothing but nice to me.

I'm going to miss her sense of humor the most.

She came over for my birthday years ago and I was worried about the kitchen being a mess, so she hide the dirty dishes in my oven and microwave, even my knick-knacks lol, in minuets the counter was clear.  Since then I hide dishes if guests happen to pop in. Sometimes my husband wishes his mom didn't teach me that.  She had a way about her that was so comforting.

Today my husband found a book his mom wanted to give me.   It was wrapped in a paper bag and addressed to us both.  It's called For the Time Being.  I'm going to miss her a lot! ❤

So, while taking Oscar to his vet appointment on Tues. we saw some cute, free kittens.  

I started to play with them while in the waiting room.  Then the next day, my husband came home and surprised me with the one I liked.  But now that's he's home with us I'm seeing it's kinda hard keeping our dogs from trying to get it....Might have to give him back.  Anyways, Oscar's diabetes is getting better, but still not regulated.
