I made a couple pillow covers for my throw pillows.  I got the front fabric for a less than a dollar and used some fabric I already had for the back.  The covers slip off in the back so I can throw them in the wash.

When I bought these couches and brought them home for the first time I realized how 

HUGE the armrests were. They're finally getting cut down to size after years of thinking it couldn't be done.  Fingers crossed that we know what we're doing.

Since my husband doesn't have to go to work early, we're watching Amelie, being bums, drinking lots of chai tea while reading english subtitles. This is quite beautiful. I feel like I'm appreciating all the small things surrounding my life.

Sweetheart skate date at the roller rink. 

My husband got a raise today so we went to dinner before skating. Since we were celebrating we ordered a pitcher of margaritas and ended up drinking the whole thing! Overall, skating was super fun.

Nightcap

Since my husband is always treating me, I took him out for the day. We had cheeseburgers & ice cream sundaes. Then saw a double feature at the cinema, Monuments Men and American Hustle. We ended the night with some yummy Rocket Tots and tried a few beers at the Flying Saucer. Sweet nite.

Koala

Had a lovely chat with my step-sister this afternoon. She made and painted this koala for me because she knows I love Australia. The pieces she makes out of sculpy are amazing and so creative.
