Playing Possum

Using left over fireworks to scare a possum.  It's been lurking on our roof 

trying to get in the overhang, when I'm in bed you can hear it scratching.  

*Not trying to hurt it, just give it a different territory.

My dryer is on the fritz so had to add clothes lines around the house.  The dryer is from the 

1960s and have never had any problems till now, so we're going to try a D.I.Y. fix.

Lazy Day

I'm currently reading Alice Walker.  It's about the spiritual and sexual journey of
a woman, Kate.  She travels to the Amazon and drinks yage' and has hallucinations 

about her past and present.  Some parts get weird but it's a good read.

Dinner for Two

Alfredo sauce and pan fried chicken breast, both infused with bacon.  Topped with 

fresh tomatoes and crispy bacon, as well as the hugest crescent rolls ever.

Say HELLO to my little friends!

I always prefer shooting with film.  My mom packed me a few of those hardcover VHS cassette 

cases full of rolls of film on my first overseas trip, to NZ and Australia back in '99.

This is how I became a shutterbug.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2013!!

I felt 2012 was a good year for me.  I made my photography business official, 

had my first public display at San Antonio's Luminaria, crossed the stage alongside my husband, 

went tent camping for the very first time at Garner State Park...

One of the best memories of the year was a two week road trip to the American Southwest.  

My husband and I stayed in New Mexico and saw hundreds of hot air balloons, partied and 

kept extending our stay in Las Vegas, camped at the Grand Canyon in 40 something degree weather, 

and then relaxed in Tempe & Tucson, Arizona.  That trip was such an adventure I can't wait 

for our next travel.  I feel as if I lived 2012 to its fullest, and I hope to carry that 

carefree spirit into this new year. 

One thing I want to set out to do this year is a PHOTO A DAY, which I will post here. 

 I hope you follow me and enjoy what I share everyday.
